PROJECT «Social-political moods of Ukrainians. June 2008.»
Research was conducted from 7 to 13 June 2008
Time frame within the research of general opinion of Ukrainians about urgent social-political questions by Research & Branding Group occurred was from June 7 to June 13 2008. Data collection was performed with the help of the personal interview method in 24 regions of Ukraine and the Crimea. Respondents were chosen with the help of quote selection representing adult population of the country according to habitation (region), gender and age. The sum total is 2200 respondents. Average mistake of the selection is expected to be+-2,2%.

COUNTRY’S SITUATION PERCEPTION, SOCIAL POSITION
-Today’s political situation in Ukraine is mostly considered by it’s inhabitants as generally negative.
-Among the main problems, disturbing people of all regions equally is the problem of prices and inflation growth.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS POLITICS AND POLITICIANS
-None of the political leaders has positive balance of activities assessment which means that negative points are more numerous than positive.
-More than a half of the population agrees that there’s no «democratic coalition» actually in Ukraine, and that Supreme Soviet should be «reformatted» to work effectively.
-Less than a half of the respondents think that overcoming the President – Prime-Minister conflict is quite enough for today’s coalition effective work.
-Every third agreed that combining a new «more extensive» Our Ukraine-National Self-defense, Litvin Alliance and Regions Party alliance is needed to solve today’s political crisis.
