GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC OF RESEARCHES

Researches are conducted as monthly monitoring which allows following the socio-political process in dynamic, in-time recording of public attitude changes, studying a challenging background and forecasting a development of political situation in the country.

Data is collected by personal interviewing in 24 regions of Ukraine and Autonomy Crimea.

Respondents are chosen by quota sampling representing the aging population of the country according to place of living (region), gender and age.

The quota is composed of app. 2000 persons. The estimated average error amounts to +2,2%.

During the analysis respondents of separate regions were additionally combined into three regions which have typical socio-political orientations: Western (Volyn, Zakarpattja, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivno, Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions), Central (Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Zhitomyr, Kirovograd, Khmelnitsk, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkassy and Chernigov regions) and South-Eastern (Autonomy Crimea, Zaporizhzhja, Mykolajiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrivsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Lugans regions).

MAIN ISSUES OPENED DURING RESEARCHES: 
→ Assessment of socio-economic and political situation in the country; Level of trust to political institutes, statesmen;
→ Assessment of national politicians’ activity (in dynamic);
→ Current ratings, anti-ratings of the main political forces (in dynamic);
→ Attitude to the last political events (EXAMPLE – probable pre-term elections, ratings of political forces in case of pre-term elections, conflicts among different power’s branches etc.);

SPECIAL TOPICS (!)
IMPLEMENTED DURING PREVIOUS RESEARCH WAVES:
1) health of Ukrainian nation: whether Ukrainians trust medicine today, how often they use medical services, how much they spend for medicine, which disease types they are afraid of and other;
2) weapon: whether Ukrainians use weapon, how important weapon is in their life etc.
3) House-Municipal Economy: whether the citizens of the country pay or intend to pay according to new tariffs; how they estimate service quality, what should be done for improving service quality of House-Municipal Economy etc.
